Who is your future team?

The hardware team in Linköping is a cross functional team including mechanical, electronics and firmware engineers. We collaborate closely in projects creating new or improving current products in Axis large portfolio, with focus on system devices, video recorders and new offerings.

The team was formed during the fall of 2023 as the first hardware team in the Linköping site. We have now settled in within Axis cutting edge R&D organization, built labs to fit our work, delivered our first project and the next step is to expand the team to be able to take on more exciting product projects. We are on a journey to grow our team, and you will get a start up feeling within a resourceful and stable company.

What you'll do as a mechanical design engineer

Mechanical design engineer at Axis is a broad role where you take part from pre studies of new potential products to high-volume production. You are hands on and work with design, prototyping, testing, supplier contact and much more. You collaborate closely with the other engineering disciplines as well as internal functions as industrial design, quality, sourcing and industrialization, some located at our headquarter in Lund.

In addition to the above we'd love to hear that you have

A university degree within mechanical engineering, or equal

*

A few years of working experience from a relevant field

You get bonus points for

Experience of design for manufacturing, with focus on diecasting, injection molding or sheet metal processing

*

Knowledge of CREO and/or Windchill

*

Experience of lighting products design
