Your role

Communication and mobility, a part of Digital Workplace, is responsible for the communication landscape at Saab, this includes conference rooms, communications tools, conference tools, mobility with subscriptions services and hardware. The ecosystem within this area includes M365, booking systems, digital signage, hardware and functionality within conference rooms, email systems, persistent chat, conference systems and mobile communication.

The department has an end-to-end responsibility towards the business that includes lifecycle management, SLA reporting, automation, security, vendor management and development.

You will be a part of IT at Saab. In your role as Head of Communication and Mobility you will have up to 25 people reporting directly to you, both employees and consultants. That includes recruitment, onboarding and off-boarding. You will act as a role model and active driver in the continuous improvement toward a more cross-functional and agile way of working.

You will work in close collaboration with your line manager colleagues within Digital workplace as well as Service Owners and Service managers who are responsible for delivering and developing our IT services.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and be accountable for all personnel within your organization
• Resource Management (resource planning, request management and consultant management)
• Competence development and strategic workforce planning
• Manage and reduce risks in regards to single competencies and critical resources
• Personnel budget within your organization
• Manage occupational health, safety and risk issues as well as personnel security

Your profile

We are looking for you who have the appropriate skills, experience and ability to handle the above challenges. To succeed in the role, you must have a great interest in technology, have a customer oriented and business-like focus, and have a good analytical ability with analytical and problem-solving mindset. You are used to, and like to work independently but are also a good team player. To thrive with us, you need to be service minded and like to work in an environment where conditions can change at short notice based on users' needs.

As a person, you are eager to develop and learn, are committed to work towards goals and focus on results. The most important is that you have the will, interest and commitment to learn.

To succeed and thrive in this role, we think you have the following skills or experiences:

• Acknowledged leadership skills
• Experience from people management and resource management
• Proactive and future oriented
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
