Your role

At Saab, we now offer a great opportunity to grow and develop within our teams. As a Finance Trainee, you will experience Saab from multiple perspectives during an exciting and dynamic year. You will have a primary position in one of our five Business Areas, where you will develop deep expertise and specialize, while also gaining insights into the broader organization and our other business areas.

The program includes rotations across multiple Saab sites, including one site visit abroad, as well as a team project together with your fellow finance trainees. Throughout the year, you will build a strong professional network and develop a comprehensive understanding of Saab-laying the foundation for a rewarding and successful career with us.

Saab Group Treasury & Accounting Services is a central function with a global responsibility to coordinate the financial and insurance activities within the group. Group Treasury works as Saab´s internal bank and handles the financial risk, financial flows as well as funding for the group. Accounting Services is a central function handling the overall accounting and reporting within Saab. As a trainee with us you will get to know and try different parts within our organization, for example Internal Bank, Accounting Services and Trade Finance. As our trainee, we expect you to play an active role in driving our digital transformation journey. An interest in AI, automation, and similar areas would be an advantage in this context.

Your profile

We are looking for a person with great analytic and communicative capacity, a good understanding of accounting and of financial markets and investment instruments. You will take active part of driving changes, find improvement areas and find out best practice within the different parts of Saab. However, your most important skill is your proactive, curious and positive attitude.

As a person you have a strategic approach, strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize effectively. You have demonstrated your skill to show good judgment in statements, actions and decisions. You have the ability to work in a team environment. We expect you to have ability to adopt new technologies and strong skills in financial systems, Excel and risk analysis of financial products.

• Relevant academic degree
• Great interest in financial markets
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, verbally and in writing
• Strong business acumen
• Enjoy change and ability to drive change
• You know the importance of building relationships both within and across functions
• Enjoy analyzing the operation and find better ways to present and follow up results

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
