Your role

The Personnel Security and Support function at Group Security is in charge of Saabs insider prevention program, setting requirements for personnel security globally, our travel security and deployment ready training program, our Executive Protection Program as well as Security Vetting and Support.

As Head of Personnel Security and Support you will be line manager for the the Personnel Security and Support function. You will in this role develop, implement and maintain processes, methods and tools for the area personnel security.

You will represent Group Security in a number of forums at Saab and cooperate closely with the security function at large as well as working with other relevant functions, such as Group HR and our business operations. As we are a global company, we work in an international context which will require national and international travelling.

Your profile

Being a functional leader at Group Security is a strategic leadership position. You have been a line manager for a number of years at your previous workplaces. Since the role has direct reporting managers and it is highly desirable if you have previous experience of second line management, i.e. leading through leaders

You can take responsibility for your own area and you understand how your part contributes to the greater good. You are a team player who can lead your team towards common goals through active and present leadership.

To take on the challenge as Head of Personnel Security and Support at Saab you have a university degree or equivalent competence acquired through work life experience. You are a socially skilled person who has an easy way of making contacts and to cooperate inside and ouside the company. You are comfortable in taking decisions and have a high degree of integrity.

You take pride in your interest for the area of personnel security and you keep yourself informed about changes in legistation or requirements within your area of responsibility.

To succeed in this role, you have extensive knowledge of personnel security, insider prevention and travel security. You have worked with implementation of personnel security processes and internal requirements as well as audit and revision. It will ease your daily work if you have basic knowledge of data privacy regulations.

It is a plus if you have worked with planning and implementing security solutions for staff traveling in high-risk countries. It is also desireble if you have knowledge of close protection, such as dignitary protection, executive protection program or equivalent.

You are analytical and structured and have a clear vision and strategy of what a company needs with regard to personnel security. It is highly desirable that you have business and commercial understanding.

You have excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written, and you are trustworthy with high standards of ethics and personal integrity.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

What you will be a part of

You will join a highly professional security function with personnel of different backgrounds and competences. We work mainly within the areas of physical security, information security and IT security, personnel security, including travel security and supply chain security. You will report directly to Chief Security Officer and be a part of Group Security Management Team as well as Security Council. You will work closely with the Security teams all over Saab as well as other functions.
