Your role

Saab Aeronautics BU Gripen as an approved design organisation has an office of Airworthiness in accordance with Military Airworthiness Authority expectations. To manage all tasks related to this responsibility, the department has divided the tasks on different coworkers, as the role Chief Airworthiness Engineer (CAE) and Head of Office of Airworthiness (HOA), etc. We are now hiring a Systems Engineer, with focus on certification, to support and relieve them.

Your main tasks are:

Develop, review and quality assure product documentation for certification and test configurations

*

Coordinate airworthiness work within Gripen Design Organisation

*

Represent office of airworthiness in development project

*

Coordinate work related to airworthiness, certification and airworthiness authority with the development organization and appointed airworthiness engineers

*

Inform the Compliance Verification Engineer regarding authority requirements

Your profile

We are looking for you with broad technical competence, good communication and collaboration skills. For the position as Certification Engineer, it is meritorious to have:

A structured way of working and good analytical skills

*

Ability to work independently

*

Previous experience in aircraft development or product verification

*

Good knowledge of English, both oral and written

*

God business understanding and customer focus

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
